William Walwyn was the fourth son of John Walwyn[1] and his wife, Agnes Milbourne.[2]
He earned his living as an auditor.[1][2]
"There is a good deal of confusion in the early part of the Walwyn pedigree and the version given in Burke's Commoners (possibly compiled by R. B. Phillipps) evidently repeats some of the generations twice over. According to the Atkyn's Glouc. the estate of Clearwell, which came to the Walwyns by the heiress of Grendour, left them with Alice, dau. and heir. of William Walwyn, on her marriage with Thomas Baynham. Their son, Sir Christopher Baynham, d 1540. The family of Walwyns had numerous junior branches, one of which was seated at Hollowood in M. Marcle." [3]
