Mary, born about 1805 in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, was probably the daughter of John M. Wanner and Elizabeth Wecklin. She emigrated to Ontario, Canada. She and her husband Michael Gingerich raised their ten children on a farm in Waterloo Township, Waterloo County, Ontario.[1][2]
