Biography

Eunice Ward was born on 4 Nov, 1790 in Sackville, New Brunswick,^[1] the daughter of Nehemiah Ward and Susanna Salisbury. Eunice married Frederick Sears^[2] on 20 Feb, 1809.^[3]

She and Frederick appeared on the census of 1861 at Sackville, Westmorland, New Brunswick.

Death

Eunice died on 7 Mar 1867 and was buried in the Four Corners Burying Ground, Upper Sackville, Westmorland County, New Brunswick.^[5] Her memorial identifies her husband Frederick.

Burial

^[6] A photo of her headstone shows the inscription:"In memory of EUNICE Wife of Frederick Sears who died March 7, 1867 in her 76 year".^[7]
