Obadiah origins, like his fathers, are unknown. His mother is also Unknown to us all.[1]

All we do know is that Obadiah, his father William Ward, and the rest of his brothers and sisters, John, Joanna, Richard, and Deborah, that their origins are unknown and their mother is unknown. We have no brith certificates, baptismal records and so on. SOURCE: Cookie Crumbs Ancestry, William Ward.

He married Mary (Unknown) in November 28, 1667 in Marlborough, Mass. She died in August 22, 1706 in Marlborough, Mass.

Obadiah had land assigned to him in Sudbury, on his coming of age in 1653. He was one of three contractors for the erection in 1661 of the frame of the ministers house. He was a representative at the General Court, 1690-1691, during the critical period intervening between the forcible deposition of Governor Andros and the covering of the General Court under the New Charter.

Obadiah died January 5, 1718. [2]

"4. Obadiah Ward, born in England about 1632, died January 5, 1718, in Marlborough, Mass. He married November 28, 1667, in Marlbor-ough, Mary . She died August 22, 1706, in Marlborough.
"He had land assigned him in Sudbury, Mass., on his coming of age in 1653. His removal to Marlborough is told in Chapter VIII. See especially the reference to him on page 47. He was one of the three contractors for the erection in 1661 of the frame of the minister's house. He was a delegate to the Council for Safety of the People and Conserva- tion of the Peace, May 9 and 22, and June 5, 1689, and also a repre- sentative at the General Court 1690-1691 during the critical period intervening between the forcible deposition of Governor Andros and the convening of the General Court under the new charter.

I see some errors in this file and they need to be cleaned up first. There are some points being made in this bio which goes against who his parents were and what most researchers have written about.

Hello Cousin! I believe that You meant ancestor not descendant.

He is a direct ancestor of mine to my biological paternal line He is my ninth great-grandfather.

So there's a good bet that we have cousin ties somewhere
