Sylvia Ward was born in Middlesex, England.

Sylvia, born in 1900,^[1] was the only daughter of Sir Leslie Ward and Judith Watney. ^[2] She married Elystan O. Evan-Thomas in 1922.^[3] She died in 1977.^[4]
