Hello John! My condolences on the loss of your wife. I have been trying to connect to England. I had a DNA test with 23andme and it connected me to a tree in Australia that of a George Ward. This person claimed George was born in Kiddieminister or something to that effect. As far back as I can go with a provable trail is John Ward born 1794 in South Carolina. Ancestry tied my tree to a James Ward out of Kentucky. I have no proof of that. I was told that the Mary Ward who drew land in 1820 Franklin County, Ga came to Georgia after the death of her husband with her four sons, I think I am looking for James S Ward who lived in Greene County Georgia in the 1790’s. I base that on the fact the Weems and Greene’s were there and John Ward married a Weems whose mother was a Green.

Hello,

I left a message on the profile of https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Unkown-1552 a while ago on behalf of the data doctors project. Have you had a chance to review it?

Thanks, David

Hi john,

I haven’t heard back from you about the break up of the United Kingdom Project. I hope all is well with you. I assume you don’t wish to join any of the country-level projects at present, and will go ahead and remove the United Kingdom badge. If you wish to join England, Scotland, Wales or Ireland in the future, you would be most welcome to do so via the respective G2G sign-up post.

Many thanks for all your contributions,

Susie :-)

Hi John,

We realise the time has come to dissolve the UK Project in favour of the individual country projects of England, Scotland, Wales and Ireland.

We are checking in with all UK badge holders to find out which country project(s) you would like to be in so you can collaborate with other members, have the opportunity to select which team(s) you would like to join, and so we can ensure you have all the correct badges.

Please respond by PM to let us know which country project(s) you would like to be in. Please don’t assume we know. We are effectively starting from scratch to make sure no one falls through the cracks.

Once you have done this, the Coordinator for Membership in the relevant country project(s) will be in touch to help get you situated.

Many thanks,

Susie

Hi John

I’m the new Project Coordinator for the England Project. I am contacting you, as there have been some recent changes to the project which we are keen to bring to your attention. Please look at the England Project page for more information on the changes and the ways members are able to actively contribute moving forward. Once you have considered how you would like to participate, please contact either myself or Susie to let us know. We can then list your involvement, help you join the Google group forum for England, and give you any other help you may need to get going. If we don’t hear back from you we’ll assume you do not wish to be a part of the England Project for the time being. We really hope you will join the team! Gillian

Hi folks, I ave been absent since April nursing my very sick Wife Caroline. She sadly passed away on the 2nd October. It has been the worst period of my life. But I need to keep occupied now, so I will be coming back to my research at Wikitree.

Hello John would you like me to add you to the Ward Name Study page, if so send me your email address so I can add you. Have you thought of joining the Military and War project ? Terry

Hi John

I see that you just did the Pre-1700 Self-Certification. That's great!

Is there a particular time period, location, or topic you're interested in? Maybe you have some historically-significant ancestors? A couple of suggestions:

Do you have Royal Ancestors? They are already here on Wikitree! Rather than create duplicate profiles for them, please contact the EuroAristo Project to discuss connecting your family line to their profiles.

We also have several military projects you might like here: Military and War

Check out our listings of other projects here: http://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Projects
