  2. Find A Grave memorial for Tapley McClennan Ward. Tapley McClennan "Toply" Ward (1834 - 1865). His gravestone has his name as "Toply M Ward", I had searched for him on Find A Grave, never finding him. I went through his records that I could find. I found him on one of his childrens birth records as Toply Ward. On military records his name as Tapley M. Ward, and hand written several places as "Topley", and then on one of the gravestone papers, it was written "Toply", which was very poor writing by someone, it was off this paper that his gravestone was made. With this spelling I found him on Find A Grave, I had his spouse linked to him and had US Veteran's Affairs, make note of the his names.
