Biography

Harriett was born in 1870, daughter of James Wood and Mary Jane Mason.

In 1891 the Wood family lived in Rawdon South, Hants County, Nova Scotia, Canada. [1] James Wood (63) & Jane Wood (51) with John Wood (24), Samuel Wood (19), Wallace Wood (11), Lucritia Wood (20), Martha Wood (17), Bessie Wood (15), Ella Wood (13), Effa Wood (8) & Chester W Wood (3).

Watson Burgess married Harriet Lucretia Wood in 1895.

In 1901 the Burgess family lived in South Newport, Hants County, Nova Scotia, Canada. [2] Watson W Burgess (32) Farmer & Harriet L Burgess (31) with Walter S Burgess (4), James C Burgess (2), Edgar C Burgess (1/12) and James A Sanford (14), all Baptist.

Son Ralph was born in 1905 in Hillsvale, Hants County, Nova Scotia, Canada.

In 1911 the Burgess family lived in the Newport Poll District, Hants County, Nova Scotia, Canada. [3] Wilson Burgesse (43) & Hattie Burgesse (41) with Walter S Burgesse (14), James Burgesse (12), Edgar Burgesse (10), Clyde Burgesse (8), Ralph Burgesse (5), May Burgesse (4), John Burgesse (1) & Ainsworth Burgesse (3/12).

She passed away aged 62 and she was buried at the South Rawdon Baptist Church (New) Cemetery. [4]

Harriott Latitia Wood was born on March 24, 1870, in South Rawdon, Hants county, Nova Scotia, Canada.[5][6] She was the daughter of James Wood (1827-1912), and Mary Jane Mason (1840-1914)

She married Walter Willson Burgess in 1895. They had 6 known children.

  3. Edgar Cleveland Burgess (1901-1971)
  4. Clyde Watson Burges (1903-1957)
  5. Florence May (Burgess) Cameron (1907-)[7]

She died on January 30, 1932, at the age of 61, in Windsor, Hants County, Nova Scotia, and was buried in the South Rawdon United Baptist Church Cemetery in South Rawdon, Hants County, Nova Scotia.[5]
