Biography

Mary was born in 1827. She is said to have been the daughter of Preston Ward and Ellender Lawson. Mary married William Newton Nichols in 1845. ^[1] In 1870 the couple is enumerated on the federal census in Franklin County, Arkansas. ^[2] She passed away in 1903. ^[3]
