Note made by Warren Meads Not sure where the above unsourced information came from. This information came to me in 2008 as unsourced . Some facts that may not be revelant. John and Ellen may have travelled on the same ship to New Zealand as his Uncle Robert Ward Robert Ward's wife was Elizabeth Henson which is noted above he married an Elizabeth Henson in 1892. This would have been in New Zealand but I can not find any NZBDM records that support this. There are no facts that I know of that suggest that the two Elixabeth Henson's are the same person. Despite being an Uncle the age difference was only 4 years. I can not find a source for John's Marriage to Ellen Clark. It is noted that they married in 1858 which was just before the emigration to NZ mentioned above but the John and Ellen on the ship had two children. one 2 and the other just born. There are as noted above a lot of children born to John and Ellen that may be theirs. This is further compounded by the Other Wards that lived in Croxton Kerrial.
