Biography

When William Francis Ward was born on July 30, 1897, in Otago, New Zealand, his father, William, was 21 and his mother, Emily, was 22. He had six brothers and four sisters. He died on May 5, 1980, in Taimate, Marlborough, New Zealand, at the age of 82, and was buried in Wanganui, Manawatu-Wanganui, New Zealand.
