William Edward Ward married Amy Ellen Waterworth at St John's in Camden on 31 October 1877.[2] They had the following children:
Harold Edward Ward, born 1 November 1878 at Camden[3]
Leslie Arthur Ward, born 16 February 1880 at Camden[4]
William Barrington Ward, born 15 March 1883 at Cowra[5]
In 1892 William and his half brother Frederick Nash were appointed as trustees for the Wesleyan portion of the Cootamundra cemetery.[6]
In 1894 William was apppointed Council Clerk for the Borough of Cootamundra.[7]
In 1913 William was appointed as a trustee for the land of the Cootamundra hospital site.[8]
William worked as a Shire Clerk at Jindalee Shire. After retirement and short[9]
William died at Dulwich Hill on 14 September 1923 and was later buried at Cootamundra.[9][10]
