Henry Ward was born before 1678 as he was not called a minor in his sister's 1695 will.
He married by 1716 Elizabeth Pearce, daughter of William and Isabella (_____) Pearce. She evidently died before 13 Apr 1733 when Henry made his will and did not name her.
Henry's will made bequests to Sarah Frisby, his (step) sisters Ariana Jenings, Francina Hynson, and Augustine Harris; his (step) nephews Edmund Jenings, Peter Jenings, Mathias Harris, Thomas Bordley, Mathias Bordley, Beale Bordley (sons of Ariana Jenings); his godson John Yorkson, son of York Yorkson, and his daughter Margaret Ward. He named as executors his (step) (brothers-in-law) James Harris and Edmund Jenings.
He was buried 9 MAY 1734 at St. Stephen's Church, N. Sassafras Parish, Cecil Co., Maryland.[1]
