Biography
Alvan Ward was born in Ashburnham, Massachusetts on April 26, 1800. He is the son of Samuel Ward and Ruth Townsend. [1]
Alvan married on Oct 23, 1823, Eusebia Russell who was from Rindge. They had eight children.
He was a farmer and for several years manufactured chair stock. Alvin died June 20, 1869 and his widow died Aug 24, 1875.
