Biography

Charles was born 2 October 1899 and baptized 18 March 1900 at Christ Church, Lower Ireland, Megantic, Quebec. He is the son of Charles Ward and Barbara McVetty. ^[1]

In 1901, at the age of 1, he was living with his parents, 2 brothers (William G, John A), sister (Elizabeth R) and 2 uncles (Henry and Peter). ^[2] In 1921, at the age of 21, he was living with his parents, 3 brothers (John, Cecil and Douglas) and 4 sisters (Rose, Beatrice, Elsie and Barbara). ^[3]
