A Findagrave memorial page has been located for George Washington Ward, and much of the biography information shown there corroborates the above source information and biography. However, it gives Feb. 8, 1833 as the birthdate for George, which does not match census data for 1880 or for 1850 which both show George's age, and calculations based on both censuses make his birth year closer to 1827. Also, the Findagrave site biography lists "Cinda Meek" as the mother of George, which does not match the mother (Elizabeth Williamson) who has been linked here. The Findagrave memorial is Find A Grave Memorial# 173773979, but a link is not provided, since it will likely trigger an error, due to the birth date discrepancy.
