Biography

Fred C Ward was born March 21, 1880. He is the son of John Scott Ward, of New York, USA and Clara L Clark of Michigan, USA.

During the 1900 US Census Fred C Ward, age 20, lived with his father J. Scott Ward, age 51, and mother Clara L Ward, age 45, and eight of his siblings in Petoskey, Michigan, USA. His siblings are listed as Ethel E Ward, female, 19, Grace E Ward, female 18, Milton J Ward, male, 15, Merton S Ward, male, 14, Harrold B Ward, male, 12, Flossie E Ward, female, 11, Willard M Ward, male, 5, Allice H Ward, female, 2.^[1]

Fred was married twice:

2. Isabella Ann Gourlie (1945- )

Fred married Catherine on 14 Dec 1904 in Windsor, Ontario, Canada. ^[2]

During the 1920 US Census Fred C Ward, age 39 lived with wife Katherine Ward, age 39, and three of their children in Detroit, Michigan, US. Their three children are identified as Winifred Ward, female, 14, Clayton Ward, male, 13, and Irene Ward, female, 11.^[3]

On 17 Oct 1945 Fred C Ward, born 21 Mar 1880, a carpenter and Etta Gourlie Casler, housewife, born 31 Mar 1886, both divorcee's at the time, applied for a marriage license in the state of Indiana, Steuben County, United States of America. Furthermore the license states that they were subsequently married on 6 Nov 1945.^[4]
