He was born on March 22, 1842 in Virginia and his parents were Martha Davidson (Thompson) and Milton B. Ward.
John Ward married on 19 November 1873 in Pike County, Kentucky to Cordelia Ford.
He passed away in 1925 and was buried at Milton Ward Cemetery in Pilgrims Knob, Buchanan County, Virginia, USA. [1]
