Biography

Zacharias was born about 1841 or 1842 in Coshocton county, Ohio. He was the son of Malcolm Warden and Epheline Bedell. His name was also spelled Zachariah in the 1850 US Census when his family is living in Harrison township of Kosciusko county, Indiana.[1] Since Zachariah did not reach the age of majority, it is believed that he did not marry nor have any children. Family history says that he died of typhoid fever.[2] He passed away on 9 March 1860 in Madison county, Iowa. His remains were buried in the Stringtown Cemetery in Winterset.[3]
