3 Nov 1742. Henry Elley of Hambleton Par., Prince William Co., to Edward Ware of St. George Parish, Spts. Co. 300a in St. George Par., part of the tract formerly granted Thomas Allen and George Musick, Sep 28, 1728, etc.

23 Feb 1743. Orange County, VA - Deed Richard Mauldin 900 acres purchase of Edward Watts - land on both sides of the Black Walnut Run. (Black Walnut Run is between Rhoadesville, Bledsoe Corner, and Burr Hill in present day Orange Co. VA). It is uncertain whether Edward, in his will, left this land referred to as the ““Ware Tract” to his brother Henry, or whether he sold the land to Henry.

5 Jun 1744. Edward Ware of St. George Par., Spts. Co. and Lucy his wife to Erasmus Withers Allen of St. Anne Par., Essex Co. 300a in St. George Par., Spts Co. part of pat. Granted Thomas Allen and George Musick.

13 Jan 1748. Upon petition of Lucy Ware, it is ordered she have administration of the estate of her late husband Edward Ware, who with James Powell and Silvanus Sanders, her securities, ack. bond. It is ordered that Thomas Dudley, John Moses and George Penn appraise the estate of Edward. (Caroline County Order Book 1746-1754, Pt. II, Page 8) VA Colonial Abstracts, Vol. 9 Essex Co. Wills and Deeds, 1714-1717.

10 Jul 1748. Edward Ware estate. Petition brought by Lucy Ware.

10 Aug 1750. Estate of Edmund Ware to be divided bet. widow and child.

14 Dec 1750. Edward Ware estate division set aside, widow to get 1/3.

8 Feb 1751. James Lindsay, guardian for Mary, orphan of Edward Ware.

13 Aug 1752.James Lindsay, returned the estate of Mary, orphan of Edward Ware.

9 Aug 1753. William Taliaferro appointed to settle the account of the orphan of Edward Ware with James Lindsay, her guardian.

Sep 1753. Account settled by William Taliaferro agt. The orphan of Edward Ware returned.

12 Aug 1756. James Lindsay returned an account on oath against the orphan of Edward Ware.

11 Aug 1757. James Lindsay returned an account on oath against the orphan of Edward Ware.

Hmm. Curious that Edward Ware (1704-1748) is listed as the father of James Ware (1714-1796). I have yet to understand how Edward had James as a son when- given the births- he was 10 years old, and so was his wife. While acknowledging birth dates are vague unless there are solid documents to attest to same, One has to accept a lot of change to either the births involved here to make this plausible. Some justification on why Edward has been selected as James (1704) father in wikitree would be helpful.

Ware-570 and Ware-2276 do not represent the same person because: this is a completely different edward. i need to see where he goes as he has a mary dudley as spouse
