Birth

Winifred was born on the 10th June 1905 based on the 1939 National Register, and her birth was registered in the Jul-Aug-Sep quarter of 1905 in the Bromyard district, Herefordshire. Her mother's maiden name was Ormond.^[1]

First marriage

Winifred (age 20), daughter of Christopher Henry Ware, married Oliver Joseph Simon (1895 - 1956) a printer and publisher, the son of Louis Simon, on the 27th February 1926 in St Clement Danes Church, London, Westminster, England. The witnesses were Louise Ware, Louis Simon and Christopher H. Ware.^[2]

Second marriage
