Winifred was born on the 10th June 1905 based on the 1939 National Register, and her birth was registered in the Jul-Aug-Sep quarter of 1905 in the Bromyard district, Herefordshire. Her mother's maiden name was Ormond.[1]
Winifred (age 20), daughter of Christopher Henry Ware, married Oliver Joseph Simon (1895 - 1956) a printer and publisher, the son of Louis Simon, on the 27th February 1926 in St Clement Danes Church, London, Westminster, England. The witnesses were Louise Ware, Louis Simon and Christopher H. Ware.[2]

Winifred's marriage to Sir Rupert Charles Hart-Davis (1907 - 1999) was registered in the Oct-Nov-Dec quarter of 1964 in the Westminster district, Middlesex.[4]
Winifred (age 61) died in 1967 and was buried on the 4th February 1967 in Marske, Yorkshire (North Riding), England.[6]
Winifred died on the 31st January 1967 in Yorkshire, England and her estate passed probate on the 13th November 1967 in London, to Timothy Julian Simon a publisher, and to Jill Goodman a married woman.[7]
