Biography

James Jackson Warfield was born 3 December 1863, the son of Adam Warfield and Catharine Bressler Warfield^[1]. He lived with his parents and siblings in Hegins, , Schuylkill, Pennsylvania in 1870^[2]. In 1880 he was a coal miner in Porter, Schuylkill, Pennsylvania and lived with the Krebs family and other boarders^[3].

He married Catherine 'Kate' Eby. Daughter Olive Celesta was born 5 March 1885^[4]. Their son Jonathan K. Warfield died as an infant in 1895^[5].

Their daughter Freda was born in 1896^[6] and son Samuel in 1899^[7].

In 1900 they lived in Good Spring, Schuylkill, Pennsylvania with their children Olive, Aita, Annie, Nathan, Hellen, and Samuel^[8].

Son Henry Juston Warfield was born in 1901^[9], and son Charles A Warfield in 1903^[10].

In 1910 they lived in Luzerne, Pennsylvania with their children Nathan, Helen, Samuel, Henry, Charles, and William^[11].

Their son Samuel married in 1916^[12], daughter Helen in 1917^[13].

He died 27 July 1928 and was buried in Union Cemetery, Gloucester City, Camden County, New Jersey^[1].

Their son Nathan J. Warfield died in 1933^[14], son George Clifford Warfield in 1962^[15].
