Biography

Sarah was the daughter of Benjamin Waring and Anne Smith of the Province of South Carolina.^[1]

She married her cousin Richard Waring and had children:^[1]

• Anne (m. Benjamin Waring 1741-1811)
• Joseph
• Sarah

Sarah wrote her Will 25 September 1757, and it was proved 21 October 1757. She mentions her sons Richard and Joseph Waring and daughters Ann and Sarah Waring, Mary, Thomas, Edith, and Ann Waring (children of her brother Thomas Waring), brothers Benjamin, Joseph, and John Waring, and niece Elizabeth Waring (daughter of her brother Josiah Waring).^[2]
