This is NOT the Mayflower Warren family which included a Richard Warren who immigrated aboard the Mayflower and landed in Plymouth in 1620, nor the family of the John Warren who arrived in Massachusetts in 1630.
This is also NOT the Waring (and occasionally Warren) family which included a Richard Waring who settled at Long Island.
The John Warren who was second son of Christopher Warren and Alice Webbe, married Alice Burgess. There is no record of a marriage Elizabeth Tome contrary to this source.
This John Warren was the second son of Christopher Waring and Alice Webb (who married 15 Jun 1613 at Sydenham Damerel) . and brother to Richard Waring, born at Kent, England and baptized at Sydenham Damrell, 15 August 1619.
Contrary to claims out there that these two brothers emigrated to America, the sons of Christopher and Alice remained in England. See narrative on Christopher Warren's profile for a discussion of the sources. Therefore, this John has been detached from any parents until his origins can be documented.
John married at St. Martin's, Exeter 24 Feb 1638/9 Alice Burgess.
was she sister of the Burgess, daughter of Peter that John's brother Richard married?
Profile managers: please read the narrative for the presumed father Christopher Waring-228. The Warings of Long Island were NOT children or grandchildren of Christopher and Alice. This John Waring should be detached from those parents.
