Lt-Col. Thomas Picton Turbervile Royal Artillery J.P. D.L. was born Warlow in 1827 was the son of Thomas Warlow and Mary Ord.

He married Lucy Eliza daughter of Colonel Henry Connop on the 19th of August 1857 in St. James's Church, Piccadilly, London, England.

1867 Ewenny Priory : Thomas Picton Warlow succeeded his cousin, Elizabeth Margaret Turberville whose name he assumed.
