WARNER.—The friends of Mrs. Esther Warner are respectfully invited to follow the remains of her late dearly beloved husband, Robert William, to the Church of England portion of the Kalgoorlie Cemetery. The funeral will leave her residence, No. 239 Collins-street, Piccadilly, at 4 o'clock this day (Wednesday), October 6th, 1915.

OBITUARY. The Late Mr. R. W. Warner.—In the death of Mr. Robert William Warner, which occurred on Tuesday last, the W.A.G. Railway Department loses an old and trusted employee. The late Mr. Warner came to West Australia about 30 years ago, and entered the service of the Great Southern Railway Company. He was the driver of the train on which the Duke and Duchess of York journeyed from Albany to Beverley, and was presented with a memento of the occasion. He joined the W.A.G.R. service twenty years ago as a driver, and was at one time foreman in the loco, sheds, in Perth. He leaves a widow and a son and daughter, the son being at present in camp at Blackboy Hill. The funeral took place on Wednesday, a large number of railway men and members of the Kalgoorlie Druids' lodge marching in front of the hearse to the Church of England portion of the Kalgoorlie cemetery, where the burial service was read by the Rev. Mr. A. R. Edington. The pall-bearers were Messrs. F. Bird, W. Armstrong, J. Walworth, R. Marshall, and J. Ryan. Wreaths were received from the following: — The relatives, loco, employees, Mr. and Mrs. Heaton, Mr. and Mrs. Canolts, grandchildren, Frank and Peggy McGuigan and the Kalgoorlie Lodge U.A.O.D. The funeral arrangements were conducted by Messrs. A. and J. Kyle.
