DNA Connections
It may be possible to confirm family relationships with Mary by comparing test results with other carriers of her mitochondrial DNA.
However, there are no known mtDNA test-takers in her direct maternal line.
It is likely that these autosomal DNA test-takers will share some percentage of DNA with Mary:
Mary and John Wilcox, her other listed husband, were both born and deceased in Middletown. John (Wilcoxson) Wilcox was born and deceased in Guilford.
Further, John (Wilcoxson) Wilcox was married to his other wife from 1719-53, which overlaps the births of at least several of the Mary Warner/John Wilcox children.
Then, of course, there's the fact that the one alleged son of Mary Warner/John Wilcoxson was born in Virginia.
