Biography
Orville was born in 1905, the son of Fred Warner and Harriett Knox. He married Marian Watt in Detroit on September 17, 1926.[1] They resided in Marquette, Michigan[2][3], where he worked as a correctional officer. They had two children:
Patricia M. (1928-2008)
Betty M. (1929-2009)
Orville retired as a captain at the Marquette Branch Prison. He passed away at Mackinac Straits Hospital in St. Ignace, Michigan on May 6, 1994[4][5] and is buried at Riverside Cemetery in Ontonagon, Michigan.[6]
Research Notes
The FindAGrave Manager who entered his memorial entered the wrong death date, probably simply carelessness in choosing from the date drop down menus (choosing 5 Apr instead of 6 May), and used "E." as his middle initial. His middle name was Frank. I've made the suggested edits to the FindAGrave memorial that will (hopefully) be completed soon.
