Biography
In 1551 John Warnford, of Sevenhampton, esquire, was a defendant in the court of King's Bench for Quo Warranto. [1] This was to determine by what authority he exercised certain liberties and franchises on his manor of Sevenhampton, such as view of frankpledge and assize of bread and ale.
