Betty Jean Waters 1933 - 2014
WATERS Betty Jean Waters, 80, entered into rest on June 14, 2014. She is remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She was born on October 5, 1933 in Ashburn, GA. Betty is survived by her loving husband of fifty years, Harvey A. Waters; children, Colquitt, Randy, Katherine and Elaine; grandchildren, Kevin, Morgan and Brantley; and adoring sister Patsy, numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Her visitation will be held TODAY, June 18, 2014 from 6-8:00pm at Arlington Park Funeral Home, 6920 Lone Star Road, Jacksonville, FL. Her funeral will follow on Thursday, June 19, 2014 at 11:00am in the chapel of the funeral home. Interment will be in Arlington Park Cemetery. - Betty Jean Warren Waters married a Henry D. Heckel October 19, 1949 and they had 6 children that I know of. They divorced Jan of 1964. Apparently Harvey Waters, I am assuming, adopted her children and claimed them as his own.
