Biography

Robert B . Warren, son of John H. B. E. Warren, was probably born after his family moved from Charlotte County, Virginia, to Rutherford Co. Tennessee, about 1801. In 1835 he married Sarah R. "Sally" Osborne, daughter of Philip Osborne and Betsy Gayle, of Rutherford Co., who had also moved there from Charlotte County, VA. The marriage license was issued 14 Nov 1835.[1]

In 1836 he served as administrator of his father’s estate.

Sally died young leaving a daughter Elizabeth b.c.1837.

Robert died probably in early 1840. James Bevin 3 Feb 1840 was appointed administrator of his estate. The estate papers give his widow's name as Nancy.[2] so he may have remarried.

Child:

Elizabeth Warren (b.c.1837- ) In 1842 her guardian was her uncle Philip Osborne of Maury Co. TN with whom she was living in 1850, age 13. She was still single in 1857 when she sold her mother's portion of Philip Osborne's land.[3][4]
