Biography

On 18 Jan 1846, Charles N Warren married Frances Groom in Clay, Missouri.[1][2][3][4]

The 1850 Census indicated that Charles A Warren was living in Gallatin, Clay, Missouri. He was working as a Farmer with 320 dollars in Personal proprty. Was living with his wife and there three children Permelia (4), John (2) and Mary (0) all born in Missouri.[5]

The 1860 Census indiacted that C N Warren was living in Hardin Township, Clinton, Missouri. He was working as a Farmer on land he owned valued at $1500 dollars and had $250 dollars in Personal Property. Was living with his wife and there seven children. Permelia (13), John (11), Mary J (9), Elizabeth (7), Chas N (5), Melissa (3) and Harriet S Warren (0) all children born in Missouri.[6]

In 1870 Census indicated that Charles N Warren was living in Hardin Township, Clinton, Missouri. He was working as a Farmer on land he owned valued at $1200 dollars and had $750 dollars in Personal Property. Was living with his wife, five of there children John (22), Mary J (20), Elizabeth (19), Chas N (17), Melissa (14)and Harriet S Warren (10) There were two others living in the home, his mother Jane Warren and a farmhand Edmond Breckenridge.[7]

Charles died in November 1871. Administration of his estate 2 December 1871 named his heirs as Parmela Higglins, Clinton County, John Warren, Ohio, Mary BowerSmith, Chariton County, Mo, Elizabeth Warren, Clinton Co, MO, Charles Warren, Melissa Warren, Harriet Warren, and widow Frances Warren. Clinton County, MO, Wills and Letters of Administration Book D, Page 42.[8]
