Biography

Further research for the Wellington family in Massachusetts has uncovered more information about this branch of the family. Samuel Wellington was the grandfather of Samuel Wellington Washburn. This son of Asa and Eunice Washburn was obviously named in honor of a very brave man who fought in several battles during the Revolutionary War.
