Katherine was the daughter of Walter Washington. She married Thomas Staunton or Stanton of Wolverton, Warwickshire, son of Thomas Staunton and Mary Padsey. They had a son Thomas and daughter Alice.

Death & Burial

Katherine Washington is supposedly buried in the Holy Trinity Churchyard in Stratford-Upon-Avon, but no gravemarker seems to exist.^[2]

Research Note

"...In 1554 it was conveyed to Walter Lyght, whose daughter married Robert Washington of Sulgrave Manor, Northamptonshire (qv) in 1564. Radway passed to their third son, Walter, whose son in turn sold it to William Goodwyn in the early C17..."^[3]
