Ward was born on the 6 January 1932 in Dunkirk, Chautauqua, New York, USA.[1] He was the son of Fritz Washington and Pearl Siggins.
Mr. Washington served as a vocational education instructor of masonry and building trades at BOCES centers in Chautauqua County for 11 years and was presently employed with Union Brick- layers’ Local 40 based in Jamestown. A resident of Cassadaga since 1982, he was a member of the Cassadaga Community Baptist Church, and the Cassadaga Lakes Association, for which he was a board member and past vice-president. Formerly he served on the Chautauqua Area Girl Scouts Property Committee, was a building inspector and fire code enforcement officer for the Town of Pomfret and was past president and captain of the Fredonia Volunteer Fire Department’s fire police.[2][3]
He died on the 16 June 1993 in Dunkirk, Chautauqua, New York, USA[4][5]
