Biography

Waterhouse is famous for his romantic paintings of female characters from Greek and Arthurian mythology.

He was born in Rome, Italy to British parents, and baptised on 6th April 1849. It is not known when he was born.[1]

He died on 10th February 1917 at 10 Hall Road, St John's Wood, London, England, United Kingdom [2] and was buried at Kensal Green Cemetery, London, England, United Kingdom.[3]
