Research Notes

In 1860 US Census, Moline, Rock Island, Illinois, page 544 I found Eliza A. Lowther (Lather). Same husband and children as in 1850 US Census, Mercer, Illinois; however, in 1860, now there are two Waterman's living at residence, Ira age 32 and Julia F. age 22. Also found, North America, Family Histories, 1500-2000 for Ira D. Waterman. This lists Ira D.'s father as Ira and also lists the senior Ira having a daughter named Eliza A born abt. 1809. Perhaps by the time of the 1860 Census her brother Ira the junior had moved in with them. These two clues are the only ones that I have found concerning Eliza A. Waterman. I hope someone is able to move forward with this information and successfully make the connection back to Eliza's nee Waterman. Here's the citation for the North American, Family Histories, Ancestry.com. North America, Family Histories, 1500-2000 [database on-line]. Provo, UT, USA: Ancestry.com Operations, Inc., 2016.
