The will of Joshua Waterman of Middleborough, yeoman was dated 16 January 1797 and proved on 9 November 1801 in Plymouth. He mentioned his wife Hannah (executor), and his children, Patience, wife of Isaac Cobb, Bethiah Waterman, Joshua Waterman, Joseph Waterman, and Jonah Waterman.[1]
His inventory was taken on 11 January 1802 in Middleborough. An account of his estate by his widow Hannah was recorded which included the sale of real estate, cash received, guardianships, provisions for the family, and administration fees.[2]
