Donald Waters, 45, Dies; District Insurance Manager
"Donald R. Waters, 45, of 217 Pine street, died at 12:40 p.m. Monday at his home following an apparent heart attack.
He was born in Zanesville on Dec. 23, 1916, the son of Victor Tuttle of Portsmouth and Mrs. Gladys Birkhimer Waters of East pike. He was district manager ofr Woodman Accident and Life Insurance Company and a member of Pleasant Grove Methodist Church, VFW and American Legion posts at McConnelsville. He was a Navy veteran of World War II.
Also surviving are his widow, Ruth Lutz Waters; two sons, Donald R. II and Rodney R. of the home; two brothers Bernard of 1505 Euclid avenue and Russell of 1102 Beverly avenue; and one sister, Mrs. Winifred Stone of Blue Rock. One sister is deceased.[1]
