Biography
Daughter of Josephus B. Waters and Margaret Lancaster Lansdale, Mary was born about 1773 in Arundel, Cecil, Maryland . Polly married Israel Jennings on 5 November 1802 in Nelson, Kentucky, United States.[1] Israel and Mary were the parents of 11 children: Charles Waters Jennings, Israel Jennings, III, William W. Jennings, Mariah Elizabeth "Betsy" Jennings Davidson, America Jennings Stites, Mary "Polly" Jennings White, Ann Eliza Jennings McElwain, George Waters Jennings, William W. Jennings, Kate "Katy" Jennings, Harriet Jennings, and Sarah "Sallie" Jennings.
Mary died on 30 October 1845 and was buried in East Lawn Cemetery, Salem, Marion County, Illinois, United States.[2]
