Daniel Waters was born in 1809 at Milton-under-Wychwood, Oxfordshire, England. He was baptised on 26 November 1809 at Shipton under Wychwood, Oxfordshire. He was the son of James Waters and Hannah Keene.[1]
In the 1841 census, Daniel Waters was age 25 living at Fierse Heath Farm, Bledington, Gloucestershire as a servant in the household of farmer Richard Smith.[2]
Daniel Waters and Susannah Rawlings married on 24 June 1842 at Bledington, Gloucestershire, England.[3] They had five known children: Thomas Waters (b. 1843), Anne Waters (b. 1846), Enock Waters (b. 1847), Eli Waters (b. 1849), Edwin Waters (b. 1852).
In the 1851 census, Daniel Waters was age 39 living at Milton, Oxfordshire with his wife Susannah Waters (39), children Thomas Waters (6), Anne Waters (5), Enoch Waters (3), Eli Waters (1). Occupation: Slatter & Plasterer.[4]
In the 1861 census, Daniel Waters was age 48 living at Cutsdean Street, Bredon, Gloucestershire with his wife Susannah Waters (48), children Thomas Waters (16), Enoch Waters (13), Eli Waters (11), Edwin Waters (9). Occupation: Carter.[5]
In the 1871 census, Daniel Waters was age 59 living at Churchdown, Gloucestershire with his wife Susannah Waters (60). Occupation: Ag Lab.[6]
Daniel died in 1873 age 61 at Down Hatherley, Gloucestershire. He was buried on 21 Jun 1873 at Down Hatherley, Gloucestershire.[7][8]
