Lavenia “Vennie” Waters, daughter of Thomas E. Waters and Mary A. G. (Hendricks) Waters, was born on 8 December 1879 in Tattnall County, Georgia.[1] She appeared on the census of 8 June 1880 in the home of her parents at Dog Fennell, Tattnall County, Georgia.[2]
She married John Harley Burkhalter, son of William A. Burkhalter and Charlotte A. (Bacon) Burkhalter,[1]
Lavenia died on 1 October 1957 at Evans County, Georgia and was buried at Harmony United Methodist Church Cemetery, Glennville, Tattnall County, Georgia. Her memorial has photos and links to those of family members.[1]
