Biography
George Waterworth was born in Lancashire, England.
George was born in Salford, Lancashire, England, on March 6, 1895. [1] He was the son of James Waterworth and Mary Evans. He was enumerated in the 1901 census [2] as the six year old grandson of Joseph and Elizabeth Fiddler. In 1911 [3] he was residing with his parents and siblings in Salford. He stated he was sixteen, single, and an "Apprentice Moulder" in an Iron Works.
George married Olive Renshaw in 1920.[4] The marriage was performed on December 27th, in Salford, at Stowell Memorial.[5] It is unknown if the couple had children.
George passed away in 1981. [6] His death was registered in the first quarter in Salford.
