Biography

Charles was born in 1831. He was the son of Thomas Watkins and Sarah Lewis. He passed away in 1876. [1]

Australian Town and Country Journal 18/11/1876 p11. Fatal Accident Brisbane Water. Charles Watkins, postmaster of Wamberal, suffered a fatal injury whilst felling a tree with his sons yesterday. He leaves a large family of small children. Much sympathy is felt for his wife and children.
