Biography

Mary "Polly" was born in 1783, in Charlotte County, Virginia. She was the daughter of Joel Joseph Watkins and Agnes Morton.

In Dec 1783, in Charlotte, she married John Dupuy (a Captain in the Revolutionary War). They settled in Prince Edward, Virginia and had the following children.

She lived in Prince Edward the remainder of her life. It is here she passed away on 4 Aug 1840. She was buried in Dupuy Family Graveyard.
