David Watkins was born in 1760 in Rutherford County, North Carolina.[1] While Find a Grave indicates North Carolina, his Revolutionary War records indicate Virginia.[2]
He married Temperance Camp probably about 1782.[1] Again, his war records indicate his wife was "Kemp"[2]
David died on 23 March 1810 at Pendleton, Anderson County, South Carolina and was buried at Willis Chapel Cemetery, Anderson County, South Carolina.[2] His memorial has a photo of his memorial stone and links to those of family members. [1]
