Mrs. Marion Drane Of Smithfield Dies --- Special to The Courier-Journal ---Eminence, Ky., Sept. 20. -- Mrs. Marion Watkins Drane, 76. widow of William Drane, Smithfield, died at the Jewish Hospital in Louisville. The funeral will be at 3 p.m. tomorrow at Smithfield Cemetery. She is survived by a son, Capt. Lail Drane. in Japan; a brother, Richard Watkins, president of Smithfield Milling Company, and two sisters, Mrs. Etta Powell, Winter Haven, Fla., and Mrs. G. E. Hill, Louisville.[1]
