He married first Grace McNally about 1910 in Glenmary, Tennessee. Children: Agie, Hazel. He married second Alma Lee Crockett on 24 Jan 1920 in Tennessee. Children: Sarah Freeda, Ethel Imogene Irene Darlene, Betty Marie, Stacy Lee, Anna Ruby, David Thomas. He died on 20 Oct 1934 in Wilder, Tennessee.
