Biography

Charles Watson was born on 6 April 1828, a son of Charles Wager Watson and Jemima Charlotte (Colleton) Watson. He succeeded as the 3rd Baronet Watson of Fulmer (in Buckinghamshire, England, United Kingdom) on 30 December 1852.

He married Georgina Tredcroft, daughter of the Reverend Robert Tredcroft and Frances Katherine (Pechell) Tredcroft, on 12 May 1854. They had three daughters, and also two sons who died as infants.

Charles Watson's name was legally changed to Charles Watson-Copley when he inherited the Copleys' Sprotborough estate in Yorkshire, England.

He died in April 1888.
