Birth

Joseph Robert Watson was born on 25 Aug 1820, and was baptized on 8 Oct 1820 at the parish church of Chelsea St Luke, Middlesex, England. He was the son of James Watson and Ann Copperthite.^[1]

Marriage

Joseph married (1) Elizabeth Middleton in 1840 in Chelsea, Middlesex, England.^[2] Elizabeth died a few months after their marriage.^[3] The next year, Joseph Robert was listed in the 1841 Census of England working as a baker and living with his sister Sarah and her husband Charles Courtneidge.^[4]

Joseph married (2) Maria Sarah Belliston on 6 Jun 1843 at St. Mary’s Church in Battersea, Surrey, England. She was the daughter of John Belliston.^[5]

Death

Joseph Robert Watson died at the age of 42 years old in 1863 in Chelsea, Middlesex, England.^[6]
